Historical Narrative ~
The Sedona Seventh-day Adventist Church ~ (the Charter Members/Founders and Builders) ~
was built in the 1970's to serve the people of the community.
They originally rented the Church of the Red Rocks until their church was built at 680 Sunset Drive, on the land that Fannie Belle Gulick generously donated.
~Thank you, Church of the Red Rocks, for sharing/renting your beautiful Church with us in order for us to have a starting place.
~Thank you to the Family of Fannie for her priceless gift!
~Thank you also to the Wise Family for being a shining inspiration to Fannie!
They began a Food Bank which has continued to the present, for over 50 years. The Sedona Community Food Bank, who has run the program for much of this time,

is relocating in order to expand their mission of service. They have found a new space to call 'Home' here in Sedona and will relocate in 2023.

In the late 1990's, the Church also hosted a Spanish speaking group who has met in the lower level of the Church.
This group has also grown and is in the process of fulfilling the corporate requirements for having their own, separate organization and name; going from Group status to Company status.

The original Charter members would be so thrilled of this progress of both entities.
Carrying forward the DNA of the Founders, the Church is seeking to expand their community service and proactive outreach thru a newly developed program called Sedona52.org.
Thru its websites and weekly services, it has a local, domestic, and international impact.
